Kinlochbervie's Gala Day 2010 was held on Saturday, 3 July 2010.
Proceedings got under way with the crowning of the Gala Queen, the very lovely Madeleine.
The Gala Queen was attended by Gala Princesses Kayleigh and Rosie.
The Sutherland Schools Pipe Band played their socks off with some rousing tunes as they struggled against the wind.
The Bucking Bronco proved itself to be a popular yet deceptively tricky challenge.
Traditional skills and crafts were on display.
The inflatable assault course was popular with pipe band members.
An unusual attraction this year was the opportunity to have a go at precision crane
operation with this big hunk of machinery.
Incoming!!!
The wellie-throw was also popular, except with drinkers standing outside the beer tent.
The falconers were with us once again, showing a selection of beautiful
birds of prey including this Barn owl.
The windy conditions kept this White Tailed Sea Eagle on his toes.
"What're you looking at?!?!?"
Amongst the vehicles attending the truckfest was this american Peterbilt 379,
owned by Dan and Dolina MacKenzie from Thurso.
The Irregulars put on a surprisingly good show of themselves,
throwing everything they'd got into the match...
And finally we had the Kinlochbervie Camanachd vs Kinlochbervie Irregulars shinty match.
The only casualty worth mentioning... :)
