A little further away you'll find The Rock Stop and Exhibition Centre. It's located just south of Kylesku (22 miles south of Rhiconich). The café serves light refreshments such as sandwiches, cakes and drinks while the Exhibition Centre tells the story of the area's unique geology
A key stop in the Geopark is the Knockan Crag National Nature Reserve and Visitor Centre which is owned by NatureScot (formerly Scottish Natural Heritage). Located 40 miles south of Rhiconich and 13 miles north of Ullapool, Knockan Crag tells the story of the Moine Thrust caused by the geologic collision of two continents.
