The good ship Nimrod, fully repaired after recent drama, took a group of local sea anglers out on Sunday to compete for the annual cup. It was a splendid day and lots of fish were caught, but some underestimated the power of the sun and returned sunburnt with one case of mild sunstroke reported, as well.
