28-09-13 Joint Warrior 132
The second of the twice-annual NATO Joint Warrior exercises is scheduled to take place from 7 to 17 October 2013.

[Joint Warrior 132, Kinlochbervie]These exercises are comprised of a series of scenarios involving the land forces, warships, submarines, and aircraft from a number of NATO countries.

Gunnery and bombing by aircraft will take place at the Cape Wrath range and submarines as well as surface ships will be operating in the Minch as well as by the Cape.

Advice for fishermen and ferries can be found in the Documents section of the website in the form of an advice document issued by the Joint Tactical Exercise Planning Staff at RAF Northwood.

Should you come across unexploded ordnance (shells/rockets/flares/etc), both during and subsequent to the exercise, you should contact one of the numbers listed at the end of the advice document or dial 999 and ask for the Coastguard.
