Following requests our second webcam is now online and giving a view across the harbour where you can see the fishing boats landing their catches or loading with fuel or ice at the pier.
This new camera also has the ability to supply streamed video, so you can watch the seagulls as the soar across the harbour.
The weather station recorded winds of 44mph gusting to as high as 56mph during the night.
And while we're on the subject of wind, the Highland Council's planning application to erect a 15m wind turbine on the shores of Loch Innis close to Kinlochbervie High School appear to have foundered.
According to the planning website the application has been withdrawn. No reason is given although it is believed that concerns had been raised by a nearby resident or residents.
