|A once regular visitor to Kinlochbervie is heading for a new life in the sun.|
|The tanker Henty Pioneer has for many years delivered oil to Kinlochbervie to fuel the fishing boats that operate out of the harbour.|
Now officially retired from the Henty Oil fleet she has set sail from Liverpool for the west African port of Freetown. She's expected to arrive there next Tuesday.
Since being laid up in Liverpool for the last few months fuel deliveries have been brought by road tanker - several times a day - to ensure Kinlochbervie doesn't run dry.
Highland Council are planning to build a new oil terminal in Loch Inchard that will allow larger tankers to resume deliveries.
