|Concern continues to grow over no after-dark landings by air ambulance at Kinlochbervie.|
|News broke back in November that the Scottish Ambulance Service's air ambulance helicopter will no longer be landing at Kinlochbervie's helipad after dark.|
Despite repeated requests Bond Aviation, who operate the helicopter for the Scottish Ambulance Service have still not given us an explanation for why this decision has been taken and what needs to be done in order to have the night-time service re-instated.
The Coastguard and Royal Navy helicopters will still be available to provide emergency medivac services on a 24/7 basis, but their helicopters are equipped primarily for search and rescue operations.
We'll continue to press Bond for an explanation and hopefully see a return of a full air ambulance service in the near future.
