|Stormy weather brought fishing boats and yachts into the safety of Kinlochbervie Harbour the last few nights.|
The pontoon moorings have quickly become full, with boats rafting two-deep.
Still more pleasure craft have had to make use of the older moorings in the northwest corner of the harbour.
Fishing boats, some familiar others less so, have also been making use of the harbour's shelter as the north-easterly winds continue to build in strength.
The long-range forecast predicts unsettled weather for the next week or more so perhaps we'll see still more boats and yachts arriving.
Referring back to a previous story, we're pleased to inform you all that Ludo successfully made it round Cape Wrath earlier in the week in his 16ft sailing dingy and is currently in Scrabster, preparing for the ordeal of sailing through the Pentland Firth and rounding John O'Groats.
