|It was an unsuccessful weekend for both the football team and the shinty team last week.|
Kinlochbervie FC were soundly beaten by Lochinver FC with 13 goals to nil. This was only the first league match of the year though, so they still have time to get on top of their game.
Kinlochbervie's pitch remains unplayable and so home matches are being played at Scourie this season.
The next match is Saturday, 13 June 2009, against Durness FC.
There are a few photos of last Saturday's match in the Football Section of the Photo Galleries.
|Kinlochbervie's shinty team, Kinlochbervie Camanachd, were also unsuccessful this weekend.|
Poor weather conditions prevented them making it to the top of Ben Nevis, Britain's highest mountain.
They'll be very disappointed by this as they've done a lot of training, including climbing Ben Stack a few weeks ago.
