|Another night of gales battered Kinlochbervie and continues to do so as the day wears on.|
The weather station recorded gusts of 47.3mph a little after 4am this morning but the wind is much stronger on higher ground and in more exposed locations.
A walk of the beach was out of the question today as heavy seas driven by strong gales lashed the beach at Oldshoremore.
The geese were grounded as massive waves crashed into the rocky headlands.
With the forecast not looking good for the next few days it'll be interesting to see what flotsam or jetsam has been driven ashore.
