03-04-11 Local Hustings
With the May elections for the Scottish Parliament fast approaching the candidates are hitting the road and meeting the electorate.

On Monday afternoon the Liberal Democrat candidate, Robbie Rowantree, will be in Kinlochbervie.

Robbie will be familiar to many in his role of local councillor and is now hoping to fill the seat vacated by Jamie Stone who is stepping down this year.

He will be available to talk to the public outside the harbour offices in Kinlochbervie on Monday, 4 April 2011 at 2pm.

There is no information yet as to when the other candidates - Edward Mountain (Con), John MacKay (Lab), or Rob Gibson (SNP) - will be visiting the area but as soon as we know we'll publicise it here.

Our sitting MP at the Westminster Parliament, John Thurso, will be in Kinlochbervie on Thursday, 7 April 2011 between 9:45am and 10:15am. You can visit him in the Community Room at Kinlochbervie High School to discuss any issues.
